Haley’s practice focuses on regulatory and energy law matters and related litigation.

Haley is a shareholder in Fredrikson’s Energy Department where she focuses on assisting clients with transmission line, wind, solar, battery, and pipeline permitting matters. Haley is part of a team advising utilities, independent power producers, independent transmission companies, and pipeline companies on siting, routing, permitting, environmental review, and other matters before regulatory agencies in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, and South Dakota, as well as other federal, state and local agencies. Haley also represents clients in litigation related to energy infrastructure in trial and appellate courts. Haley has experience in both state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration and mediation.

  • Advises and represents clients on matters related to transmission line permitting in the Upper Midwest.
  • Advises and represents independent power producers in siting of renewable energy projects in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and South Dakota.
  • Advises clients on issues related to federal and state environmental review, the Clean Water Act, and related issues.
  • Represents clients in litigation related to energy infrastructure in state and federal courts.
  • Part of a team for 300-mile crude oil pipeline for certificate of need and pipeline routing permit in Minnesota.
