Overview
Gathering information during an internal investigation creates opportunity and risk. What warnings should you give? Should you let employees bring a lawyer? How much information can you reveal? How much should you reveal? What are strategies for getting the most information? Should you be warm and friendly or cold and threatening? Should interviews be done by compliance, in house counsel or external counsel? Join us as David Glaser and Manda Sertich, who spent 10 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney handling criminal cases, in addition to her extensive law firm experience, discuss the successes and failures they have seen during interviews. They will also offer some other considerations for compliance investigations.
