Overview
Compliance plans help keep you out of trouble and can lessen the penalties you face when something goes wrong. This session provided tips we have learned from observing successful programs and offer some lessons learned from failures. In addition, we discussed how your education efforts may be used against you and how you can make that less likely. Finally, we offered a few practical tools to help lower the risk of facing False Claims Act liability.
Accreditation
We have applied for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for this program in Iowa and Minnesota. Please contact Greta Larson at glarson@fredlaw.com if you are an attorney licensed in another state and would like information about obtaining CLE accreditation. We have also applied for Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) credits. Webinar participants will be notified of accreditation upon program approval of CLE and HCCA credits (typically three or four weeks following the webinar).
