Bushel provides software technology solutions for farmers, grain buyers, ag retailers, protein producers and food companies. Represented by Fredrikson, Bushel recently closed an oversubscribed $26 million funding round led by The Banc Funds Company with further support from new and existing investors.
Additional funding typically focuses on scaling an already successful company. Bushel boasts an impressive list of stockholders—including 50 South Capital, Cargill, Germin8, Lewis & Clark AgriFood, and Scoular—most of whom also participated in this round. The contributions were distributed across several different investors, testifying to the broad base of support Bushel enjoys.
This capital will be used to expand the Bushel Network significantly and enhance the connectivity of the digital infrastructure to benefit all participants in the agricultural supply chain. The growth of the Bushel Network will help further strengthen the agricultural supply chain by forming stronger connections among farms, grain elevators and ag retailers. Additional value will be created through the ability to connect data with properly permissioned sharing.
Bushel was represented by Fredrikson attorneys Dominick Grande and Lynn Baldus.
