María José has five years of experience in civil and commercial litigation practice.
As a Mexican lawyer, María José represents national and international clients in cross-border commercial transactions. She supports her clients in all types of commercial transactions and operations, including the granting of Power of Attorney (POAs), the incorporation of companies inside and outside Mexico, and the handling of the due diligence processes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and in the sale and purchase of properties.
Prior to joining Fredrikson as an associate, she worked at two law firms in Mexico in civil and commercial litigation and at the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice. She graduated as number one in her class from Tecnológico de Monterrey and obtained a recognition for her outstanding results in the exam applied by the Centro Nacional de Evaluación para la Educación Superior (National Evaluation Center for Higher Education).
