Overview
Jorgina works collaboratively with attorneys and agents in preparing and prosecuting patents of various technologies.
Jorgina relies on her background, passion for learning and strong interpersonal skills to communicate with attorneys and clients to evaluate and capture invention technology. She drafts claims and specifications, and prepares responses to communications from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and foreign patent offices. Jorgina also aids attorneys in developing patent landscapes, preparing claim charts and patent searches. She enjoys learning about clients’ new inventions to maximize their intellectual property protection.
Jorgina received her Master of Science degree in patent law from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to joining Fredrikson, she worked as a patent engineer at an intellectual property boutique firm.
