Carter D. Allen

Carter assists public and private companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and lenders in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions and general corporate matters.

Leveraging his past professional experience in the sports industry at the league, collegiate and professional levels, Carter takes a relationship-focused approach in helping clients across various industries achieve their business goals. In his current capacity, Carter provides support to senior associates and shareholders throughout the lifecycle of a deal, primarily assisting in the due diligence process, contract review, document drafting and closing/post-closing obligations.

Prior to joining Fredrikson, Carter worked in the Premium Service Department of the San Francisco 49ers as a Suite Activation Representative, managing more than 40 premium suite accounts at Levi’s Stadium and aiding in the team’s corporate partnership relations and retention efforts. Carter also served as a Student Director in the newly founded Sports & NIL Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School, assisting student athletes and influencers with name, image and likeness deal negotiations and contract drafting.
