Philip S. Bubb Graduates from West Des Moines Leadership Academy

Philip S. Bubb, an officer at Fredrikson & Byron, graduated from the West Des Moines Leadership Academy (WDMLA). According to its website, WDMLA is an intensive, regionally-oriented leadership development program designed to give potential and emerging leaders the skills, knowledge and ongoing support they need to succeed in the West Des Moines community. The program is designed for outstanding individuals who wish to sharpen their leadership skills and gain a greater understanding of the region’s economy and community networks.

Bubb is an experienced commercial litigator serving clients in diverse industries, including construction and real estate. He regularly handles disputes involving contracts, business torts, insurance liability and negligence. Bubb represents general contractors and subcontractors in mediation, arbitration and litigation, and represents construction-products manufacturers against claims of strict liability, warranty and negligence. He has served as lead and second-chair counsel in both state and federal courts and has obtained verdicts for clients following bench trials and jury trials. Prior to joining Fredrikson, Bubb spent 10 years as a commercial litigator in Atlanta, Georgia, and later served as general counsel for a start-up distillery outside of Des Moines, Iowa.
