Fredrikson & Byron shareholder Lousene M. Hoppe has been named a 2022 Notable Partner in Law by Twin Cities Business. Hoppe was selected for her demonstration of leadership at Fredrikson yielding significant, positive and measurable results in Minnesota communities and in the firm. Hoppe is a litigator and criminal defense attorney who represents corporations and individuals accused of health care fraud, financial or tax crimes, and criminal felony and misdemeanor cases at both the state and federal levels. She also focuses on foreign corruption practices act (FCPA) investigations and due diligence, false claims act (FCA) litigation, investigations of alleged regulatory or licensing violations, and related commercial litigation matters.
Hoppe is currently President of the Board of Directors of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, the world’s largest bar association for LGBTQ+ lawyers. She also acts a general and ethics counsel for Fredrikson & Byron, and chairs the firm’s practice quality committee.
