Immigration attorney Loan T. Huynh is among 10 Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) members selected to receive the 2019 Excellence Award. Huynh will be recognized for her work in advancing diversity and inclusion. The award recognizes those who provide significant contributions to the legal profession and the community. Huynh will receive the award at the HCBA’s annual meeting on May 30, 2019.
Huynh is co-chair of Fredrikson’s Immigration Group and has practiced immigration law for over 20 years. She focuses on employment-based immigration, corporate immigration compliance and global mobility solutions for employers. Huynh also leads Fredrikson’s I-9 audit and corporate immigration compliance and H-2 temporary worker programs practice area. She has extensive experience in advising clients in the agricultural, food processing, life sciences, biotechnology, energy, healthcare, software and other high-tech sectors, financial services, and manufacturing industries. Huynh is also a frequent speaker at national conferences and has written extensively on immigration issues. She is a member of the Board of Advocates for Human Rights, and H-3 Vice Chair of the national American Immigration Lawyer’s Association’s DOL Liaison Committee. She is also the chair of Fredrikson’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
