Immigration Attorney Loan Huynh Earns Minnesota Lawyer 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Award

Fredrikson & Byron attorney Loan T. Huynh has been awarded the 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Award by Minnesota Lawyer magazine.

Huynh was selected for her contributions to diversity in the practice of law and her significant impact with respect to diversity and inclusion on the greater community. In total, 14 individuals were chosen by an independent panel based on their achievements and their commitment to the Minnesota diversity and inclusion community. Honorees will be recognized at an awards celebration on October 7.

Huynh is chair of Fredrikson’s Immigration Group and has practiced immigration law for over 20 years. She focuses on employment-based immigration, corporate immigration compliance and global mobility solutions for employers. Huynh leads Fredrikson’s H-2 temporary worker programs and I-9 audit and corporate immigration compliance practice areas. She has extensive experience in advising clients in the agricultural, hospitality, life sciences, biotechnology, energy, healthcare (healthcare systems, hospitals and individual physicians), software and other high-tech sectors, financial services and manufacturing industries. Huynh is a frequent speaker at national conferences and has written extensively on immigration issues. She is a co-founder of Women of Color in the Law: Lifting as We Climb. She is a former chair of Fredrikson’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee and is a member on the Committee. She is a member of the Board of Advocates for Human Rights, a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Associations DOL Liaison Committee, and a board member of the Hopkins Education Foundation.
