McCool, Chair of Fredrikson’s Real Estate & Construction Group, spends his days working to find solutions to his clients’ varied real estate and business issues. McCool is an experienced real estate attorney with a multi-faceted practice, focusing particularly on representing parties in complex land use and development matters, real estate joint ventures, real estate transactions and disputes involving real property. McCool relies heavily on his business and finance background to understand his clients’ businesses so that he can best help these clients capitalize on opportunities and obtain sensible and efficient outcomes to challenges that may arise.
Patterson concentrates his practice on construction and real estate law. He represents owners, architects, contractors, subcontractors, engineers and suppliers, in both the public and private sector, who are engaged in commercial and industrial construction, including the energy and biofuels industries. He represents his clients in connection with construction claims and dispute resolution, whether in litigation, arbitration or mediation. Patterson provides legal advice to lenders, developers, contractors, commercial landlords, tenants and other business entities. He assists clients with acquisitions, sales, leasing and development of commercial properties, which includes negotiating and drafting purchase agreements and leases, property tax appeals, mortgages, mechanics liens and sale-leaseback transactions.
Troje works closely with clients to develop tailored, practical solutions to their real estate and business legal needs. She has experience managing all areas of real estate transactions, including lease drafting and negotiations for both landlords and tenants, acquisitions and sales, financing, development, construction and litigation. A varied background in commercial litigation, corporate transactions, bankruptcy and estate planning allows Troje to apply broad experience to the wide variety of challenges that clients face. Troje is a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Real Property Law Specialist which requires a rigorous approval process, including passing an examination on a broad variety of real estate topics, peer review and documented experience.
