Fredrikson shareholder Brett F. Roberts was appointed by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and earlier this year confirmed by the Iowa Senate to the State Judicial Nominating Commission.
The State Judicial Nominating Commission is tasked with interviewing candidates and submitting nominees to the governor for judgeships on the Iowa Supreme Court and Iowa Court of Appeals. Roberts’s term on the State Judicial Nominating Commission will end on April 30, 2028.
Roberts helps clients buy and sell businesses. He has counseled public-company, private-equity and other clients in public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions on both the buy- and sell-side. His M&A experience has involved a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, agriculture, construction, health care, marketing and insurance businesses.
