The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce has named Fredrikson as a 2023 Keystone Honored Company, an annual award recognizing businesses that have made extraordinary contributions within their community. Fredrikson is celebrated for its innovation in giving as a mid-size firm, with six different programs operated as unique parts of the corporate giving efforts; Pro Bono, Community Service, Friends of Fredrikson, Community Presence Initiative, Foundation and Sponsorships.
Fredrikson will be formally recognized at the annual Minnesota Keystone Luncheon on December 7, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis with two fellow honorees, Goff Public and U.S. Bank.
This annual event celebrates Minnesota's tradition of corporate social responsibility, philanthropic giving and the strong tradition of philanthropic and corporate donations that support our communities. Members of the program give at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations and are acknowledged for their outstanding giving programs at this event.
The Minnesota Keystone Program promotes corporate philanthropy by recognizing and honoring companies that donate at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations. In 1976, 23 Minnesota companies created this program (originally known as The Five Percent Club) to recognize and encourage charitable giving in the state. The commitment of Minnesota Keystone participants continues to serve as an example to other businesses, both here and around the globe, and to sustain Minnesota’s spirit of generosity and sense of community.
