Fredrikson & Byron acted as legal counsel to Edina-based Geronimo Energy, a leading wind and solar developer in North America, in its $100 million sale to National Grid Ventures, the competitive non-regulated unit of National Grid (LSE: NG; NYSE: NGG), a London-based utilities company. According to the release, National Grid supplies electricity, natural gas and clean energy to more than 20 million people across New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
