Fredrikson & Byron acted as legal counsel for Aavid Corporation, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity (Audax), in its acquisition of Kunze-Folien GmbH (Kunze). Headquartered in Oberhaching, Germany, Kunze specializes in the design, manufacturing, and integration of thermally conductive films, heat sinks, and transistor clips in power and other electronic environments. Additionally, Kunze provides lamination, thermal conductivity, and design simulation services associated with its products.
