Fredrikson & Byron was ranked third among the “Top 100 Firms for Female Attorneys” by Law360. In its inaugural report, Law360 ranked the 100 best U.S. law firms for women, based on the firm's female representation at the partner and non-partner levels and its total number of female attorneys. Fredrikson was the only Minnesota headquartered firm to rank within the top 15 and was the highest ranked full-service firm.
In a separate ranking by Law360, Fredrikson was among the top 10 firms listed for being a 2015 Ceiling Smasher. This year's Ceiling Smashers are the 25 U.S.-based law firms out of more than 300 surveyed that have the highest percentage of female partners. This ranking recognizes firms that have made significant strides toward gender equality. Law360’s 2015 Glass Ceiling Report found that while women make up 43 percent of the non-partner ranks at U.S. law firms, they comprise just 22 percent of partnerships. At Fredrikson, women make up 45 percent of the non-partner ranks in the U.S., and 34 percent are shareholders.
