Fredrikson & Byron is proud to support the Wanton Injustice Legal Detail (WILD), an affiliated non-profit organization of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice (TCDIP).
“As a founding member of TCDIP, we are furthering our commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal community and in the Twin Cities area,” said Mary Ranum, Fredrikson & Byron’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee Co-Chair. “We look forward to partnering with WILD and other community members in this critical work.”
The financial support provided to WILD during its inaugural year will be used to strengthen ongoing relationships with organizations such as the Page Education Foundation, Minneapolis Federal Reserve and MN Department of Human Rights and to build new relationships with community partners to further broaden the organization’s equity-focused work.
WILD’s mission is to provide a platform through which volunteer attorneys within TCDIP can actively combat anti-Black racism and all forms of racism through direct support and partnerships with existing community organizations. By harnessing the collective expertise of TCDIP member organizations and volunteer attorneys, WILD seeks to amplify and support the work of community organizations across the Twin Cities to create a community free of all forms of racism.
As a member of the Founder’s Circle, Fredrikson has committed to providing critical financial support to WILD during its inaugural year and is in full support of its mission. Fredrikson’s participation ensures that the organization thrives during its early stages of development.
