Attorneys Cara S. Donels and Austin L. Goodnight have joined Fredrikson & Byron’s Des Moines office.

Donels is an associate in the Employment & Labor and Litigation Groups. She assists employers in employment and business-related litigation and helps clients navigate business law challenges to keep them out of court. Her practice is in general business litigation. Prior to practicing law, Donels worked for an aviation engineering firm as an extern in the contracts and legal departments.

Goodnight is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Governance and Private Equity Groups. He advises clients on general corporate governance matters and at each stage of various business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to practicing law, Goodnight worked in an information systems role at an international agricultural machinery company where he managed supply chain processes and built software tools. He also gained practical legal experience as an extern in the in-house legal department of an international education company.
