Fredrikson & Byron Foundation Makes Significant Donation to the University of North Dakota’s School of Law

The Fredrikson & Byron Foundation, and several of its lawyers made significant financial contributions toward the expansion of the University of North Dakota’s (UND) School of Law. The project, which took 15 months from beginning to end to complete, is only the second major renovation associated with the UND school in its more than 100 years of existence. Fredrikson attorney William L. Guy III served on the project’s planning committee. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, October 9, 2015. UND has named the Faculty Suite Office on the second floor of the new addition in honor of Fredrikson & Byron.

The Fredrikson & Byron Foundation supports the philanthropic efforts and volunteer work of Fredrikson & Byron’s attorneys and staff in the community. The Foundation focuses its grant making to law schools, post high school scholarship programs, programs that improve the delivery and access to legal services, programs that are aimed at ameliorating the causes and effects of crime, organizations that seek to develop our community’s human capital, and arts and cultural organizations that improve the quality of life.
