Fredrikson attorney Leakhena Au has been named a 2024 Rising Star by Super Lawyers for Madison, Wisconsin.

Au uses her wide range of experience in all aspects of state and federal civil law to assist clients with environmental and regulatory compliance. She has a background in civil litigation and government administration. She has regulatory and natural resource planning experience with the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and Clean Water Act analysis. Au also has experience with compliance counseling and due diligence reviews. She has assisted a variety of clients with environmental review, regulatory, and permitting matters in the Midwest, particularly in the transmission, utility and renewable energy sectors.
