Fredrikson has elected eight new shareholders: Samuel M. Andre, Jesse C. Beier, Janet M. Dorr, Bridget A. Duffus, Thomas M. Patton, Jennifer R. Pusch, Natasha Townes Robinson and Jonathon L. Schroeder.

Samuel M. Andre works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Workouts and Litigation groups. Andre’s practice focuses on corporate restructuring, creditors’ remedies, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He represents businesses, commercial lenders and individuals in the areas of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. He works closely with clients to understand their specific financial and operating concerns and provides practical guidance on how to address critical issues.

Jesse C. Beier works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Trusts & Estates and Trusts & Estates Litigation groups. Beier dedicates his practice to trusts and estates matters, ranging from planning to litigation. He assists individuals, families, and businesses preparing for the future through the implementation of tailor-made plans focused on tax efficiency. Additionally, he represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries throughout the probate and trust administration process.

Janet M. Dorr works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Employment, Labor & Benefits Group. Dorr defends employers in actions in state and federal court, including cases involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, hostile work environment, defamation and contract disputes. Her practice focuses on complex litigation relating to non-competition/non-solicitation agreements, trade secret misappropriation, contract disputes and business torts. Dorr also advises employers on personnel issues and policies.

Bridget A. Duffus works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Energy Regulation & Permitting, Energy & Natural Resources, Condemnation & Eminent Domain, Energy Litigation and Renewable Energy groups. Duffus assists clients with wind, solar, battery, transmission and pipeline permitting matters. She is part of a team advising utilities, independent power producers, independent transmission companies and pipeline companies on siting, routing, permitting, environmental review and other regulatory matters before the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, North Dakota Public Service Commission, South Dakota Public Utilities Commission, and other federal, state and local agencies.

Thomas M. Patton works in the Des Moines office and is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group. Patton's practice focuses on intellectual property disputes, with an emphasis on patent and trade secret litigation, enforcing and defending his clients’ rights in a wide range of technologies, from software and telecommunications to medical devices, automotive, GPS, consumer appliances, gas containment and roofing. He has experience with all stages of complex intellectual property and commercial litigation in federal and state court prioritizing his clients’ interests throughout.

Jennifer R. Pusch works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Tax Disputes & Litigation and Renewable Energy groups. Pusch represents clients in all types of tax disputes and controversy, including federal and state audits, administrative appeals and litigation. She also advises renewable energy companies on federal tax credits, including credits expanded or created by the Inflation Reduction Act, and advises on state and local taxation of different renewable energy projects.

Natasha Townes Robinson works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Litigation, Health Care Fraud & Compliance, White Collar & Regulatory Defense, Internal Investigations and Health Licensing Defense groups. Robinson represents individuals and businesses in commercial, regulatory, and white collar criminal matters. She advises clients on health care compliance, fraud and abuse laws, regulatory issues, internal investigations and professional licensing. She has experience with all stages of complex commercial litigation in federal and state court and has significant experience in complex administrative litigation.

Jonathon L. Schroeder works in the Ames and Des Moines offices and is a member of the Real Estate and Construction groups. Schroeder advises clients on real estate transactions, construction law, landlord/tenant matters, homeowners’ associations, business and non-profit formation, and zoning and development law. He assists clients with residential, commercial and agricultural leasing matters, business formation, reorganization and dissolution, homeowners’ association disputes and covenant enforcement, and non-profit formation and achievement of tax-exempt status.
