Reed specializes in real estate and cooperative enterprise, with a particular focus on the sharing economy. With roots in electric distribution cooperatives, Reed provides clients with innovative solutions to transactional problems, building better deals by focusing on processes that create trust and unlock value. He is experienced in drafting real estate contracts, including easements and purchase agreements, as well as analyzing commercial leases and zoning compatibility. Reed has provided services for a diverse range of clients, from renewable energy companies to marketing cooperatives, and has provided pro bono services to aid underserved clients in transactional matters, bankruptcy and consumer fraud.
