Fredrikson & Byron attorney Mercedes McFarland Jackson has been elected to a three-year term as a member of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The newly-elected board members formally began their terms on November 15, 2018.
Jackson is an officer in Fredrikson & Byron’s Private Equity and Bank & Finance Groups, where she specializes in debt finance transactions and advises clients on compliance matters under financing and corporate governance documents. Jackson has represented corporate borrowers, private equity groups and financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured commercial lending transactions, including acquisition financings, senior, second-lien and mezzanine financings, secured bond offerings, debt restructurings and debtor-in-possession financings.
