Fredrikson & Byron shareholder Brett F. Roberts has been appointed by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds to the Judicial Nominating Commission for District 5C.
The Judicial Nominating Commission for District 5C is tasked with interviewing candidates and submitting nominees to the governor for district-court judgeships in Polk County, which includes the Des Moines metro area. Roberts’s term on the District 5C commission will end on January 31, 2024.
Roberts is a former clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael J. Melloy of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
