Overview
Organizations face increasing challenges to identify and assess workplace disputes or issues between employees and improve working relationships. At times, a dispute escalates and an investigation into a complaint is the only option. However, when the organization has identified a concern before escalation, there are other options.
Antone Melton-Meaux has developed a unique and facilitative process which he calls “workplace interventions.” The intervention involves a timely workplace assessment and an on-site dispute resolution process. The employees involved are active participants in the process and are central to identifying specific steps they can implement to improve the working environment and relationships. Each employee participates voluntarily, there is no fact-finding or report and the process is facilitative.
Antone will lead our group through a discussion of workplace interventions, when an intervention might be appropriate, how it works, how this process differs from a workplace investigation and how we can help clients identify when an early intervention might prevent later legal action against the organization. Workplace interventions are only one approach clients can use to proactively address employee disputes.
Please join us on June 19, and come prepared to share your thoughts and ideas about how to partner with clients to help improve employee relations and avoid legal action!
