Overview

Norah Olson Bluvshtein drives operational excellence and innovation as the firm's Chief Legal Operations Officer.

She leads a multidisciplinary department dedicated to enhancing firm performance, optimizing service delivery, and achieving strategic objectives. Her leadership spans five key areas:

  • Generative AI: Strategic integration of AI solutions to deliver superior client value, ensure ethical practices, and improve operational efficiency across the firm
  • Practice Management: Business planning and goal implementation for practice groups
  • Attorney Development: Comprehensive talent management from onboarding through shareholder advancement
  • Research & Knowledge Management: Advanced legal research, competitive intelligence and innovative legal solutions leveraging process improvement, legal project management and cutting-edge technologies
  • Legal Support: Management and development of legal administrative assistants, paralegals, litigation support and  alternative staffing roles that ensure seamless practice operations

Under Norah's leadership, the firm has achieved numerous operational advancements, including:

  • Launching a comprehensive, cross-functional Generative AI program
  • Implementing a structured annual business planning process across all practice groups
  • Creating Deal Manager, a custom SharePoint solution for our deal teams that enhances collaboration and enables data-driven pricing
  • Restructuring legal administrative support to establish team-based models with professional management and specialized roles
  • Centralizing litigation docketing with rules-based software to mitigate risk and increase accuracy
  • Designing client portals, dashboards, and workflow systems that enhance transparency, organization and project management

Prior to serving as the firm's Chief Legal Operations Officer, Norah practiced for more than a decade as an employment law attorney, rising to shareholder and chair of the Employment & Labor Group. Shortly before becoming chair, she led a strategic planning effort in the group and helmed several teams focused on legal project management, process improvement, knowledge management and alternative fee arrangements. This experience allowed her to explore her passion for innovation in the legal industry – a project to which she is now dedicated full-time and on behalf of the entire firm.
