Fredrikson & Byron announces the addition of three attorneys in the firm’s Des Moines office, including shareholder, Krystle Campa, senior associate, Alex Kron, and associate, Natalie Williams, who join Fredrikson’s Energy Group.

Krystle L. Campa brings a fast-paced, established renewable energy and real estate practice to Fredrikson. She oversees and serves as lead lawyer in complex real estate transactions and renewable energy projects. Campa helps her renewable energy clients acquire, finance, develop, sell and repower energy projects. She ensures compliance with local law, minimizes site acquisition, title or survey issues and collaborates with development, title and survey teams, allowing projects to efficiently proceed to closing. A proven leader in commercial real estate work, she also assists developers, lenders, mortgage companies and in-house counsel with significant and often complicated real property projects.
Alex N. Kron is an experienced energy attorney with an emphasis on real estate, tax, and business issues. He represents clients in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of renewable energy projects. Kron advises companies, individuals and nonprofits in real estate and business transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, title and survey review, tax planning, entity formation, corporate governance, applying for and maintaining 501(c)(3) status, and mergers and acquisitions.
Natalie Williams guides clients through the development of renewable energy projects, as well as leasing, purchasing, sales and financing of commercial real estate matters. Williams’ practice encompasses both real estate and regulatory aspects for the development of renewable energy projects. She advises renewable energy developers during site acquisition, title review, project finance and divestment. On the regulatory side, Williams assists with securing local, state and federal permits required for renewable energy generation. Natalie is licensed to practice in Nebraska; her Iowa license is pending.
